Family Medicine Physicians

Within close proximity to Washington, D.C, joint commission accredited non-profit focused on community health and treating the medically underserved. Diverse employee and patient population, almost 50 years in business, and approximately 15 locations throughout Montgomery and northern Prince George’s County.

 

They offer medical, dental, and mental health services, as well as the special supplemental nutrition program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC), and refugee health assessments. Services offered regardless of citizenship status and ability to pay. The patient pool includes native speakers of Amharic, Arabic, French, Somali, and Spanish (the latter being predominant). 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be in possession of a valid license to practice medicine in the State of MD

 

  • Maryland CDS and DEA licenses

  • Have a thorough knowledge of the principles and practices of medicine and allied services commensurate with his/her training

  • Demonstrate a special interest in the area of community medicine

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred

  • Ability to relate to culturally diverse patients and community

 

Position eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program of the U.S. Department of Education, the Loan Repayment Program (LRP) of the National Health Service Corps (NHSC), the State Loan Repayment Program (SLRP), and the Maryland Loan Assistance Repayment Program for Physicians (MLARP).
